I have flights booked from 15 oct to 30 nov to India and was wondering if I could return to Canada with my work permit that is valid until 06/2021?

If you landed as a PR your TRV gets cancelled in the system. You’ll need to apply for a PRTD.

Received a letter stating I am a Permanent Resident. I never landed as PR as I was here already!
I find it is shocking that Immigration would cancel a valid document that cost me money when travelling without a PR card is so difficult? I paid $250 for a bridging permit and now they are telling me that is arbitrarily invalidated?

So did you land virtually and then leave and now want to return? If so, you need to apply for a PRTD. If you have received your PR card in Canada someone can also courier it to you.
