Hi to all,

Just wondering if any in these group is in the same boat like me? I am Canadian Citizen and my mom have a valid visa until November 2021 and I am thinking to get my mom to visit me again before her Visitor VISA expires.

With the current situation of Covid19, what is the best explanation that travel is essential not discretionary?

Family visits are generally seen as discretionary/non-essential.

Parents of citizens and PRs don’t have to prove that the visit is essential. They are currently free to travel
