Valid 2years B1/B2 USA visa holder with expired i94. Pls how can i legally migra

Hi, i entered USA in 2016 with a 2 year B1/B2 visa that expires in 2018 with my wife. We have stayed beyond the 6 months given us at the point of entry because we were encouraged that we could stay without problems. But with the new government now, we are not sure if we are not going to be deported.Pls how can we legally migrate to Canada?
