i am going to apply for canada study permit for the very first time..i have applied to lambton, Northern lights college, ucw and viu???
can anybody plz tell me should i go for pg diploma or mba or masters ..i have b.tech in computer science with 71% ..
how is UNIVERSITY OF CANADA WEST and VANCOUVER ISLAND UNIVERISTY?
I would definitely recommend you to go for a masters with a btech degree. Diploma is a sure shot visa rejection. UCW and VIU are both below average universities. They are very close to vancouver which you think will help you land jobs. But the universities don't have a good reputation with employers is what i have heard from many.
If you are targeting an MBA program.. suggest you write GMAT even a score of 550 or 500+ can fetch you a decent university. For your degree diploma is a downgrade hence visa rejection is highly possible.
If you are not ready to write GMAT look at the MBA ISP program by brock university though this is not a very highly rated program it is any day better than ucw and viu!
Don't get carried away by consultancies if they are pushing you to take the univs you've mentioned. Do your own research.. check linkedin profiles of alumnus from the programs you are joining check their success rate.
Hope this helps
Is post graduate diploma a bad choice??
