using United State's OPT in Canada

Hi all,

I recently received my U.S. OPT employment authorization card, and I am wondering if any of you is familiar with whether the U.S. OPT can be used in Canada for temporary employment? If not, does any one have any idea about how I can reside in Canada while using my OPT status to work for a U.S. company without having to get a Canadian work permit?

If your intent is to reside in Canada permanently and work for U.S. company using U.S. work permit, then, no - it's not possible without acquiring Canadian PR or Canadian OWP first.
