Hi just wondering if anyone can tell me what's next, CIC emailed and requested a copy of my passport be emailed as well they were asking if my family composition has changed, it hasn't. I emailed them a week ago the copy of the passport and am now waiting. We submitted in April 2013, I am under the impression that when they request for a copy of passport that's the final stage. Can anyone give me insight? Nothing has been updated on ecas.
You should check out the Ottawa-CPP thread, if Ottawa is your VO. There seems to be a slow down in processing the COPR after the PPR. I am still waiting since PPR on Sept 25th. My spouse is US too. I hate to be bearer of bad news regarding this but it looks like the resourses are going into processing the Manila PR requests due to the typhoon, etc. Don't worry though usually the PPR can take a few weeks to process. We just need to be patient as hard as it is!!! BTW we applied in March. I think they have been too busy to update Ottawa Ecas probably.
yes we got an email requesting passport pictures on Nov 7th. It seems we did a bit of a goof with our application and forgot to send them with our application. My wife actually found the original ones in an envelope in her wallet 2 days ago. Anyway we had new ones done on the 7th o f Nov and ent them expedited mail but because of Rememrance Day they didn't get there until Nov 12th. We haven't heard anything since. ECAS do say DM tho.y
Canuckluvus- oh that's too bad about the passport pictures, hopefully since it says decision made you will be receiving the COPR soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and make sure to keep me updated

thanks! After you get your COPR in the mail you get to "land" in Canada. If you are already in Canada, and near the border you can do what is called flagpoling. Cross over and then come back in and land. They will give u a copy of the COPR with the pic and u will get the PR card in the mail months later. Then u r done. This is condensed version
