not sure what forum this belongs to, but I figured most of you are in my situation.... I'm a citizen and my wife applied via inland PR March 31, 2010 started processing end of June so maybe end of the year she should hear something. My question is we really want to visit the US to Disney and outlet shopping, obviously there is no point in trying to get a US visa before the AIP, but after she gets AIP can we apply for US visa right away or do we have to wait when she lands?

You should wait until she "lands" Although she still may find it difficult to get a US visa until they decide she is "established" in Canada.

Your wife should wait until her PR application gets processed completely. Her re-entry to Canada is not guaranteed as her presence is required for Inland processing.
