Hi,
I Currently live in Canada as a foreign worker (PGWP) , I finished my masters degree in Dec 2020. Recently, I applied for a PR.
I applied for a USA student visa F-1 in October 2021 from Amman Jordan. Initially, I was refused for administrative processing, under Section 221(g), they asked for additional information to proceed with the application. I submitted the information, but the processing time was very long during which I had to travel to Canada to start a new job.
Late January 2022 the embassy contacted me to send my passport for visa stamping. However, I was out of Jordan(In Canada) and I was no longer interested in the student visa. For that reason the status remained refused.
All of that information I declared on my application, could it have a negative impact on the application?
Thanks
