I'm presently a US Green-Card holder living in the US. My application for PR for my spouse has been approved for us to return to Canada.

My question is does my US Green-Card get revoked at landing or is it is still valid till it expires? (6 years left on it). I'm asking as I'll be living about an hour away from the US border and was curious if I could technically still work in Michigan if I had too? (Yes I realize I'd still need to pay taxes etc).

Also if I wanted to revoke and return it (If it doesn't happen automatically), could I?

You should really post this question to a US immigration forum since it has nothing to do with Canadian immigration - it's about what actions the U.S. may take once you are a PR holder of Canada.

Canada will certainly not revoke your green card at landing. Canada has no interest or power over your green card. Only the U.S. can revoke your green card.

The U.S. does have residency requirements for maintaining your green card. Crossing over daily for work may or may not meet these requirements. Again, best to post on a US immigration forum.
