US CPA to Canada

Not sure if this is the right section to list my question.

I am a US CPA and plan to move to Canada. (I have US accounting degree, both auditing and controller experience) I heard from many people US CPA is not widely accepted in Canada.

I plan to convert my license to Canada license, please advise with my background, in terms of usefulness, will CA/CMA/CGA be a better option for me? Which designation will give me more exemption if i take the exam?

Any thought is greatly appreciated.
