I have my orientation on 3rd of January and my classes will be starting in 7th of jan so can i arrive to canada on 18 December is it a safe date ???
 
Yes - that's fine. Make sure you don't start working until classes.

My classes starts on Jan 7. I arrived here last Nov 30. As @scylla said, don't start working before your classes starts.
