I have quick question I have an approved i797A till sept/2022. I wanted to attend H1B visa interview in January 2022 in India (booked a slot in Delhi). I wanted travel to Canada this week and soft-land return same day back to USA using AVR. I am wondering if I am now eligible for AVR or not?
Were you able to travel to Canada and complete the same day soft landing? I am in a similar situation with a Dropbox appointment in India for Feb 2023 for my visa stamping and want to go to Canada to activate my PR.
New I-797 after change of employer valid till 2024 and have an expired h1b stamp for my previous employer in my passport.
