Hi,
I am a July 2007 applicant.Send my complete docs to London in Oct 2009 alongwith IELTS result. At that time I was able to score only 10 points through IELTS that could make my points to 66..In Jan 2010 CHC asked me for some additional docs ,I realized my mistake and retook IELTS in the mean time, this time I was able to score the desired band/score.But just today when I m about to send my IELTS result to CHC ,I realized tht it was mentioned on my certificate, that it was not a repeated attempt for IELTS(I think while filling the application form I just overlooked that question:"Reappearing for IELTS" Answer: Yes/No and i just ticked "NO")I didnt want to and even cant hide my 2nd attempt from CHC (as the first result is already with CHC)it was just a mistake. Now my question can it create any problem for me/doubt in the mind of IO.What could be done,Should I ask British Council to issue me a corrected Certificate, but it will take some time and my deadline is very near or should I mention this thing in my cover letter to CIC .
Plz suggest what shd be the right move in these circumstances.
thanks

I don't think this situation will create any problem for you. As IO must award points base on new IELTS that you submitted recently. In other hand, it not your mistake unless you tell to CIC that you didn't mention , its mistake of British Council too, if you forgot or did not mention, they must know that its a repeated candidate. Anyhow, when both valid IELTS are there, all should be fine. So, be relax, I am very sure its not an issue.
