Posted this question on trackitt as well: RPRF for self /spouse should be payable to "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" , AMOUNT =980 c$. But should the draft be payable in London UK or Canada?

The link here does not say WHERE should the draft be payable.

http://dfait-maeci.gc.ca/missions/unitedkingdom-royaumeuni/visas/fees-frais-eng.asp

Can someone please guide me!!

It states "RECEIVER GENERAL CANADA". Every bank in UK will give you a such a draft. It has to be in the name of the "RECEIVER GENERAL CANADA" in Canadian Dollars. Send the Draft to CIC London and they will issue you a receipt once they get it.

Here is what the London CHC web site states

"Payment by bank draft, bank cheque or postal order

A bank draft / bank cheque is a cheque issued by a bank payable to a person, in this case the Receiver General for Canada. The name of the Canadian bank that will pay the Receiver General for Canada will be written on the cheque.

The bank draft, bank cheque or postal order should be made payable to the: RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA

Write your name and address on the reverse of your bank draft."
