I see that this question has been asked multiple times on this forum and I always saw conflicting replies, so asking for any recent experiences. After receiving PPR, do you have to submit your old, expired passports along with the current one?
In my case: the old one expired in 2017 and the new one starts from that year. My application was made in 2018 using the new passport, although I HAVE uploaded all the pages of the old passport along with the new one during my e-APR. Extensive travels on both. My 'ready for visa' letter does not specify if I have to send old ones. It just says send your 'passports' through VFS (plural implying passports of dependents, if any, I think).
Is it safe to send old passport along with the new one? It still has active US visa and I don't want the passport to be lost.
Is there any harm in sending only the current one? If they need the old one, can I assume they would request for it and not reject the application?
