urgent query regarding visit visa process from Dubai?? opinions please

Hello guys,
My name is Ali. I am from Karachi, Pakistan. Last year my Canadian study permit got refused from Pakistan due to insufficient funds.

But now I am presently in Dubai from two months pursuing Masters in Applied Finance from University of Wollongong Dubai. I am in my first semester. The semester is about to end in May 2016. The program duration is 2 years. My sister is a Permanent resident in Toronto. I want to meet her this summer.

Can I apply for a visit visa from Dubai? Will I get a visa to visit my sister?
I am a full time student in Dubai. I am presently not working.
What documents are required?

As long as you can prove that you will come back you should be fine. Be sure to have enough funds to sustain yourself during your travel. Also, show that you are a student and that you must return home to get your degree or whatever diploma.

If my sister send me an invitation letter and a letter of sponsorship with her husband to support me, then will it enough for the funds?
If not then how much funds do I have to show in my account as I am not working in Dubai.

For the funds, depends how long you are going. More time in Canada equals more money to show at border.

Thanks. I just want to go for 15 to 20 days to meet her. Then I have to return to Dubai to continue my summer semester. The classes are starting from June 12.
What should I do to prove them that I will leave Canada after my stay? That's the main point !!!
