Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi!

I want experts to answer this.

I have a friend who applied for FSW in June 2011. He worked for an employer from 1999 to 2005. He has left that job. He provided the reference letter with job duties that was given to him by his employer in August 2005 after leaving the job. He received his PER and his case is now in process for 2 months with date. So far CHC hasn't asked for any thing.

Does any one know will he be ok with that August 2005 reference letter or he needs to send the recent up to date reference letter with job duties?

Many thanks

Well "my opinion" is that he doesnt need a new one. BUT if he is banking on the experience points from that particular job, then there is no harm in getting newer one....
Though if he has added current details of the boss / company etc with the exp letter and sent the original, it should suffice.
My though off course :)

Agreed with devilhimselff.
He may not need a new experience letter, but make sure that
1. The company exists(i.e. no name changes, mergers, etc)
2. There are chances that the concerned person have left the organization, so get updated visiting cards(mention the same in covering letter).
