Urgent Police check Question

Sorry if this is a repeat question, just want to be clear. My husband the applicant has lived in Canada for 2+yrs were applying inland, he had his police check done but it was just for here in Canada. We're we suppose to have one done in his home country as well? We've already mailed our application since Dec 5 /2012. If he is to have one done from his homeland Nigeria, how long will it take and when should we send that in? Will not sending it delay our application?

Your husband requires a police check from all places he lived for 6 months or longer since the time he was 18, except for Canada. You didn't require a police check from Canada as CIC can get their own police checks through the RCMP.
