I need to get my wife's PCC done from Delhi,India. Now my wife's present address is my address in India but she doesn't have any address proof for that. The passport office requires address proof of present address for police clearance if the address on passport and present address are both different which is the obvious case here. I was thinking to get the photo passbook from her bank account with the present address but not sure if it would enough or not. Also, i can get the PCC done from police station as well but i have read on the forum that it's advisable to get it from the passport office due to some rejections in the past.
