I am a 25th Jan ITA and I will be getting PCC done from Gurgaon PSK, India.. is it a good idea to say single in the form even though i am married.. just to avoid any chances of getting a new passport issued to get spouse name added to it.? I read at few places that if ur passport does not have spouse name then the PSK asks u to get a new passport issued with spouse name.. and in PCC report no where do they mention ur marital status and spouse name.. wat do u suggest friends? Should I and my wife shiw single and get PCC for PR purpose or show married and then bith will have to get new passports and follow that..
Plzz suggest..
Also change in passport number wont it be a problem post ITA..?

Do not take the risk. While checking your Back ground for authenticity of PCC they will inquire about you and the info they will get is you are unmarried. Certain things are hidden and not mentioned on the PCC, but while cross check they get all details.
PCC is not linked to your marital status. Even I dont have my wife's name on my passport and got PCC from PSK Bangalore all fine. Dont hide any information; mention you are married and apply with all documents.
