yes you need to provide originals. keep photocopy for yourselves
Hi Ajnabee2,
Original letters doesn't mean, the one you received at the time of leaving the organization.
You need to approach your HR dept of the Orgranizations worked and ask them issue a service certificate again.
If you can get your reporting manager or the HR department to include details like Salary, Period of Work, Roles and Responsiblities - it would be good.
As of your orignal experince certificate, that you received at the time of leaving, attach a notarized photocopy of the same.
This your consultant should be helping you with.. don't understand why he/she isn't .
Anways, the Forum is always, open to help.
Regards,
Matlal

Thanks Guys,
I really appreciate your help.
IMHO , notarized copies of all previous employments etc ( letters, offers, appointments, releiving etc etc ) and current reference in ORIGINAL with business card of the person issuing attached . I understand this from the VO checklist for ND

Hi to all,
I also had the same problem of getting this updated reference letter. This is because it was in a foreign country and i am in a different country at the time i was asking for the updated reference letter. It was a little had to push them to do it.
At the time i was sending my full documents i tried , but they refused giving me the updated and i wrote a cover letter to the visa officer and i sent the one they gave me when i finished my contract.
Below is an e.mail they wrote to me giving me their reasons.
My application is in process and since June 2010, i have heard nothing from them. What should i do in this case?
Any suggestions will be welcome
Canadaforall.
E.mail from the institution.
Hi Rita,
I am sorry to tell you the bad news. I've called Ouyang. He explained the reason why he counldn't offer the certification. that is "First, they offer the certification when evey foreign teacher leave. Second, the format they offered is same.(no e-mail and number) Last, they only offered the certification once. They can't provide the certification at will according the rules of university."
I hope you can understand. That is all what I can do for you.
best wishes
Portia
