I am planning to do masters in university in Canada. I am married and my wife will continue to stay in India by doing job to support me for sometime . As per our plan she will try to come to Canada as a dependent after 6 months, once I got good part time job.
I need clarification on below:
1.Chances of getting dependent Visa and what is the rejection rate.
2.Can dependent do any jobs(part time or full time)?
3.If once dependent visa got rejected, with in how many days she can apply again?
My case is same . i am from india but currently working in the UAE . i applied for student visa in Dec 2014 along with my husband but got rejection . But now i am planning to apply alone next time as it is easy to get visa when you apply alone as suggested by a consultant in Dubai. But i really don't know if my husband will get the visa after 6 months too. i dont want to get stuck without him.
they were not convinced that i will leave canada. all my stupid consultants fault. they showed me and my husband unemployed. i am not sure but i think in case of student's visa experience doesn't count that much. Anyways now i am gonna apply alone the next time. but not sure through which should my husband should apply. What have you decided?
As i already said i had 5+ experience and going to apply for student visa for this Jan 2016 intake to do Masters. If i got visa - Later after six months based on my settlement there (house/climate/part time job etc.) my wife will apply for dependent visa meanwhile she continue her JOB to support me until my settlement. Hope every thing will be good. Let suggest me if there are any risks in my plan?
