hi all seniors & members
need advice
my timelines are - applied on july12
received PER on Nov 12
file transfered & got MR/PPR/RRF/consent form for NZ police(NZ PCC was pending) on feb 12
medical done(15/3/12) /RRF/Passport sent 23/3/12
passport returned back by NDVO & re-submitted on 6/6/12.
I had applied for GCMS note & know the reason of delay. NDVO was doing background from 7/12 but not finished till Nov 12.
till now i haven't received any reply from NDVO.
my query is does background check involve job verfication. if yes does it depend what my employer tell to the verification agency as i resign the job all of sudden(with 2 weeks notice) for submitting my medicals/passport in india.
pls also tell what can be the possibilities for the delay & if my medical expires, will ndvo will ask for re-medical or ask for early travel.
pls give ur suggession , is there any member with same situation

don’t worry, now CIC is giving 2 months for landing from the visa date regardless the MR date.
regarding the MR, if everything is Ok. they will take the responsibility for this and will not ask for new one if it get expired specially you reached a PP phase. It’s Done.
most of visa offices have the right to verify your entire info. but I didn't hear that they used it and called for something like this, this is regarding LVO, I don't know about NDVO.

Good Luck
