Urgent Info Required Regarding Police Clearance Certificate

Hello Everyone.

I have a query regarding PCC. I hold an Indian passport but I was in U.k since Jan 2009 till 7th April 2011. I was there on a student visa for my Master's Degree and I am back in India since last 4 months.

and CIC received my application on 29th June 2011.

I want to know whether I need to get the PCC only from India or from U.K as well?

Hi,

You need PCCs from UK and also from India.
You were in UK for a period of more than 6 months. Therefore the PCC is mandatory.
