I am from Kahsmir and PR IN canada , my husband is from India too. He was a refugee claimant and after talking to the lawyer we decided to withdraw his refugee application and pursue spousal sponsorship application. We got married last year and applied for his spousal sponsorship in December. We withdraw his refugee in August. Now all of sudden we got a email from IRCC asking for his passport and PCC . THE problem is his passport is expired and not with him. The Ircc has given us one months time to submit all the documents. Can he renew his passport thru emergency . Any suggestions would help.

They asked for the passport submission under the spousal sponsorship? Was the request for a virtual landing? What do the instructions say to do, specifically, if the spouse is in Canada? Are they asking for submission fo the physical passport or just a copy? How do they ask for it to be submitted - email or online?
