Hello friends,

I need your very urgent attention. My Manitoba PNP file is in progress. They sent an employment verification email very late and told employer to help me for employer specific work permit (closed work permit). But employer is not helping me. And immigration officer is not issuing me nomination due to this.

So I don't have anything now to apply for new work permit. My current post graduate work permit is expiring on October 8, 2020 after 2 days. Please help me.

I am thinking to apply for bridging open work permit without any document and will try to explain IRCC whole scenario. will that work? what is your suggestion?

Please reply urgently.

You need an AOR to get a BOWP. What's wrong with your employer? Do they know that you will have to change your status to visitor and stop working?

You don't qualify for a BOWP. Explaining things to IRCC unfortunately will not work.

Is your employer willing to apply for an LMIA? Do you happen to have a spouse in Canada?

They just don't want to do it. There is no specific reason. Yes, they know that I will have to go to visitor visa or stop working but they don't care. I have just submitted BOWP. I don't have any option to keep working myself.

I made one mistake in submitted application. In family name section, I wrote given name and vice versa. How can I correct it now? Please guide me.

My employer is not willing to do anything to help me. No, I don't have spouse. I am single. I wrote wrong name in submitted BOWP application. How can I correct it now? Please guide me.

I honestly don't see how it matters since the BOWP is going to be refused. However if you want to correct something, you should submit a webform.

Thank you for your response. Ya, I had not any option.
If I get rejection, will that automatically cancel ongoing PNP application?

No, but you have to stop working and restore your status as a visitor.

Thank you. I just submitted webform to inform IRCC about my mistake in written name in the submitted form. At the end, it was showing " If your application is in within normal processing time, we will not email you anything."

what does it mean? will they correct my name in the submitted form?

If your message was about asking about the status of your application, or something trivial, probably it wouldn't be replied once the application is within the normal processing time. It's clearly not your case, they will receive the message and forward it to the responsible office that is taking care of the Bowp application (they would probably receive the message, and make the correction --> It would even be better if u had attached to the message a new copy of the form with the correct entries).
