PLEASE HELP
I applied for sponsorship for my husband who is indian citizen with indian passport.
I recieved an emailing saying my sponsorship was approved and that my package was sent to new delhi for processing.
than I received an email from new delhi saying send proof of payment for permanent residence and police clearance to immigration website via email to which I did and did not hear anything back.
After some months i got an email saying send passport for stamping which i got back with a one time entry for immigrant visa.
THE PROBLEM. my visa expires in sept 29, 2017. I have my flight booked for tomorrow evening. I DO NOT HAVE CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE LETTER. I only have the visa.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN. please help. I am really stressed out as he he travelling tomorrow. Will he be allowed into Canada tomorrow without confirmation of permanent residence.
My application for sponsor ship was approved on March 2016.

update: I found the confirmation of residence letter but it is in india right now and I will not have the original letter with me.
my question is Can I have a photocopy of that letter? will that be okay?
Your question is very confusing. It's not clear who needs to land you or your husband, and who is traveling from India.
No, you can't use the photocopy of a COPR. In fact, a COPR becomes invalid on any modification, even if you laminate it.
If your husband is flying from India and the COPR is in India, why not ask him to use that to land. If it's in a different city and your husband does not have it, try same day delivery from the airport by JetAirways or other airlines. My friend had an urgency and he used Jet Airways for 4 hours delivery of his passport from Vijag to Hyderabad
Without COPR, he definitely can't land in Canada.
Alternatively, if he already has some other visa, he may try using that to come to Canada. You may get COPR mailed to Canada and do a flagpole to US border to finish your landing process. It may be cheaper and easier to reschedule his flight. So that's another option.
