Hello guys,

I have made changes in the my EE application in the language section. But that changes is not reflected in the comprehensive score. It should be increased now. But it's still showing the previous score.
Please let me know, how can I make change and updated score is reflected in my application?

Thanks in anticipations

The changes needs to be transmitted first and then the updated score will reflect in 24 hours.

Hey, I don't understand what you meant by "changes needs to be transmitted"...I updated my new IELTS score in the language section of my application in less than 24 hours. So, I guess i need to wait a little to more when the changes i reflected...

When you go to 'View Submitted Application' in your Express Entry account (MyCIC account, you will be directed to your application which has three columns as given below
- Form Name (shows the respective section - Personal Details, Contact Details, Study & Languages etc.)
- Status (shows the status for that section - Updated, Transmitted etc)
- Options (shows button to Update Form)

If the Status column shows 'Updated', instead of 'Transmitted', that means the changes have been saved but not transmitted. Also, it will show an additional button 'Revert Changes' in the third column under 'Update Form'. In such a case, go to the relevant section, do no 'Save & Exit', instead you will have an option to 'Continue' or 'Transmit' post which you will have to accept Terms & Conditions. This will ensure that the changes have been transmitted.

Once you submit the changes, it can take up to 24 hours for them to be reflected in your CRS. Don't freak out, and hold tight.

Hi Stanlee,

My score is still not updated. The reason why i am stressing so much is coz my previous score was 406 and based on my IELTS result it should be 472. So, i have high chances of getting ITA in the coming draw. But, it is possible only when my score is updated. I have raised technical issue request too. But no reply so far. Can you help me?

Once the changes have been transmitted, ideally it should have updated in 24 hours. In case the score does not change by Monday evening, then you can consider to withdraw your existing profile and create a new one with the latest IELTS scores. You can take screenshot of your existing profile before withdrawing it so that it becomes easier for you to create a new profile. Please note that you will have to wait for Job Bank account to be activated for the new Express Entry profile to be active again.

Thanks Stanlee.

One more question, If I create a new profile on Monday evening, how much time it will take to activate Job bank account for the new profile? i am asking coz i dont want to miss ITA in this draw.

Again, for the same to be updated, it will take 24 hours. In case you miss this ITA then you will anyway get ITA in the next round (mostly in another 2 weeks).
