I applied for a visa, online, from the London embassy on May 30th
had my biometric taken a couple of days after
nearly 70 days on and I still haven't heard anything back.
I was supposed to fly there THIS FRIDAY to attend a tech conference.
They're not responding to the many emails I've sent them.
I've had many visas from all over the world including the US, all granted in under 2 weeks. It's never taken this long.
What is going on?
is there anything I can do at all? any telephone numbers? can I go to the VAC or even the embassy? this conference is very important for my career and missing it would be a major set back

I suspect IRCC is running background checks on you/your application. Do check if the online processing status states the same.

Unfortunately, no, as you've emailed the London VO several times, that's the best you could do.... no telephone numbers and even if you find a number, your queries will not be answered.... no (VFS/VAC London cannot influence nor expedite processing)
