Dear Members,

I am in need of urgent suggestions.

I filed my wife's sponsorship application on 8th April. I got AOR 1 yesterday.
Now, due to some urgent issues (my kitchen roof collapsed), I had been moved to a different apartment which changed my (Sponsor's) Address.

So, do I need to update my address in CIC?
I can't access eCas till now, however if I use WebForm who should I enter as applicant? Me or my wife?
There is no change in my wife's address, only I have moved.

Please suggest guys.

You answered the question yourself. you are the sponsor.so your wife is the principal applicant.
for the address updating once you login your online profile as a sponsor you will see like this:

Your current home address
x - xxxx *********
Montreal, Quebec
Canada
### ###

Update this home address

So this allow you to update your home address.once you update In like 3 or 5 days you will see the new address appearing on your profile. so just do it and take it easy, don't worry everything will be alright!

Update this home address

Hi,

The problem is "My access to eCAS has not been enabled yet".
The AOR was sent yesterday only, how long will it take to get the access to eCAS enabled?
Is it ok if I send an update request using WebForm?

So this allow you to update your home address.once you update In like 3 or 5 days you will see the new address appearing on your profile. so just do it and take it easy, don't worry everything will be alright!

To access your Ecas Check the number on your resident card, if you are a resident. if you are a citizen check the number you had been using to deal with immigration before you become citizen.f you are Native, then I have no Idea where you can get it. or you can wait our SA will give you that number as well.also the option to send a specific case from the website is valid.

If you need any other clarification let me know.don't worry most correspondences will be coming by email, not mail, though it's important to update your address.
