Hi
I got my PR and I am travelling to Toronto this October. My validity of the visa is till October 15th. I wil reach canada on 01st October and I am returning back to INDIA on 06th October
My questions are
1) are these 5 days enough for me to apply for PR cards?
2) where will I apply for the PR cards?? Is it in the airport itself or should I go somewhere and apply??
I don't have time beyond 5 days.
Please gimme ur inputs
1) No, the processing for a PR card is 43 calendar days
2) They send you the first one automatically, i believe they are only sent to Canadian addresses
Thanks for ur prompt reply
I wil visit canada, apply for PR cards and will give my friends mailing address
In that case, I can enter canada, apply for PR cards and leave na

You don't have to
apply for PR card.
When you complete the brief interview with immigration officer at the arriving airport, your documentation will be done by that officer for your PR Card. The card will be mailed to the given address.
