- I am a postdoc in an exempted LMIA by my current offer for two years Feb-2018 - Feb-2020, will finish my first year on this coming Feb-2019. immediately will apply for PR - CEC.
- i just got an extension offer letter for another one year (the third year). starting from Feb-2020-Feb-2021.
- As CIC needs a postdoc to have valid offer for at least one year after getting the PR, so my extension will guarantee that. now My question is, does my offer extension (third year) need a accompanying work permit to be valid? or to be considered by CIC as a guarantee that i have offer for at least one year after getting my PR? or the offer extension letter is enough and the WP to be applied later?
