hi guys i am dec 2015 applicant with spouse. I just got my pr ready email which states that i along with my accompanying members send the passport to ottawa. But since my wife lives outside of canada i am getting confused , so i sent a web inquiry form asking for separate passport submission instructions for my wife.
Does anybody have any idea how long it takes for them to reply and also if this is the correct procedure which i have followed.
I have waited more than 3 years for this pr please help me out so i dont have to wait more.
Also how long it takes for passport to return after stamping from ottawa.

They should reply you in about 4-5 business days in general. YOu will be notified having an option of submitting your wife's passport to nearest canadian embasy at her residence. My friend too has similar problem. They replied in about a week

Also say that she is on vacation at that time as she is already outside canada. but make sure that her visa should be valid before sending passport. If valid, no problem at all.
