URGENT HELP ABOUT APPLYING..

Hey... I have completed my HSC this year but for applying for bachelors degree the university wants HSC certificate, which is issued after the time of 3 years. Now the board officer told me that you can issue a provisional HSC certificate until your original certificate comes. So I wanna ask that will this provisional certificate be enough to apply to university ?
