URGENT Financial question when applying for study permit extension and Co-op work permit

I'm applying for study permit extension and co-op work permit from within Canada(IMM 5709e). I'm required to submit proof of funds, my current bank statement doesn't show enough funds, So, Can I show that my father's Indian Bank account statement as proof of funds for my living and study expenses when I'm in Canada and applying for study permit extension and co-op work permit? Do the proof of funds need to be under my own bank account? Or Do I need to submit the affidavit letter from my father along with the bank statement? Please advice. Thank you in advance.

P.S : I'm also applying for my temporary resident visa (IMM 5257_1e).
