Urgent change in Marital status

ppl need some urgent help. I have been asked by VFS to submit my passport for stamping. Myself being the primary applicant with two dependents (wife and kid).
However we are now heading towards separation,where she no longer wants to travel. Can I submit my passport to VFS for stamping or is it mandatory that I should be submitting both of theirs as well

If approved, each applicant will get a separate passport submission request. You as the principal applicant does not imply your dependents have been approved as well.

You need to send a IRCC web form + email to your local visa office to inform IRCC that you/your wife are separating. You need to include consent/authorization from your wife and/or a court order if your children will accompany you without your wife
