Yes, the fastest way would be to request pick up of certificate with the agent, during the ceremony. Certificate will be available for pick up next business day. Do not request urgent mailing of certificate, as it will take 2 weeks to arrive (Montreal office).

Yes I did with the agent during the ceremony. If you have proofs for your urgency, you will be given a pickup option, they will also give an option to reschedule but nothing forced.

This is correct. I asked the first officer who checked us in to the virtual oath ceremony if my certificate could be expedited because of travel. His curt response was that it is not possible and he would go ahead only if I wished to continue and not postpone the Oath ceremony due to impending travel. Having waiting over three years, I thought better than postponing the Oath.
However, in mail back to the office, I addressed him as 'Officer XYZ', sounded more polite that Attn : XYZ. I got my certificate in exactly 7 days.
