-URGENT- Applying for Canadian Visa in Dominican Republic

Hi All,

I have an urgent matter hope you guys could help me.

I am holding a Chinese passport, and have a valid work permit in Canada. I have arrived in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for my wedding this week. But my problem is that my visa expired and there is no way for me to return to Canada, and I have a few questions,

1) If I want to submit a visa application in San Domingo's visa application centre, is it possible for me to go in person?
2) How long does it usually take?
3) Do they have urgent or express service?
4)I also heard that Dominican Republic doesn't process their own visa, all are send to Mexico City?
