I received the ITA on July 17th, 2015. I submitted all the required documents on Sept 1st, 2015. Then, I was requested for Finger prints proof on Sept 30, 2015. I submitted the required proofs and schedule A on Oct 28th, 2015. On Nov 18th, 2015, I got married and my status is now "Married" from single. I sent in a change of status request to CIC to Sydney (NS) office (paper application as there is no way to send it online). They received the sent documents on Dec 4th, 2015. I am still waiting for them to open up an online slot in my profile for my wife.
Question:
1.) How long does this process takes to open up a slot for my wife so that I can upload my wife's documents online and add them?
2.) I have still not received a positive APR on the documents which I have submitted. When should I be receiving that letter (used for bridge work permit). Any time line?
3.) Adding my wife application to my existing file, will it change the 6 month time line (more or less time) or everything will be processed within 6 months? Please advice me based on the details of my file I have stated above.
I have already got medical, police clearance, paid the immigration fees for my wife.
Has there anyone who has been through this situation and if he/she could share the process they have been through and how long it takes. Please share and help me here.
