Hello, we have printed 50 mm x 70 mm photos, and will be uploading them for online spouse sponsorship. We plan to scan and upload it, but then the picture may seem very large on a computer screen. Does anyone have experience scanning uploading 50 mm x 70 mm printed photos for online applications? How should this be done?

If this is about uploading via a web form, how many pictures are you planning to upload because at one time, you can only upload a total of 3.5 mb data where one file can not exceed 2 mb in size. So, if your file exceed 2 mb limit, you would need to compress it.
Edit - I missed you mentioned via online application portal, so check if there is any limitation like above on the portal or not.
Suggestion: You can also create a pdf of several photos combined which I would prefer.
Thanks for your response. I am talking about the passport-sized photo that is required for the application (I am not talking about wedding photos). The passport-sized photo needs to be 50mm x 70mm if you mail the application. But if the application is submitted online then we need to upload this passport-sized photo, but when you upload it and then open to see it, it is a different size on the screen.

Ok. Well, hard copy is a different thing but the picture is actually clicked by a professional probably a DSLR which is a high resolution picture in reality.
There is thread for online applications where people have sent applications, you should be able to get right answer there. Here is the link:Online Spousal Applications Thread
