I landed last week, but the address I had (in Montreal) was not accepted by the CBSA officer. I'm trying to update my address using this form -> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp

but no matter what number I use (UCI, EE, COPR, etc), it does not recognize me and doesn't let me proceed.

I have filed a CSE, but I'd like to know if anyone else has been able to use this form. Am I using the right form? Is there any other way of confirming that my address has been updated for the PR card?

That is the correct form that I have used and the only other way is to send CSE.

Curious, did the CBSA officer ask for proof of address?

Nah, she just asked for the address, and when I told her (verbally), she said that wouldn't work, and that she'd admit us with no address and to update it within 180 days.
