My wife and kids all have Canadian citizenship. I need to be sponsored (U.S. citizen). We're planning to apply as "outside Canada". So on IMM1344 section C, question 3, should we list our two kids? Initially I thought yes, because they are accompanying dependents. But now I see a related question on the Sponsorship Evaluation (IMM5481), question 6 B that gives us a different place to count them. Question 5 A is clearly geared toward "sponsored people", and refers to boxes C 1-4 on the sponsorship form. So now I'm thinking the kids should not be listed under C 3 of IMM1344.
I don't see any instructions that cover the case where the person being sponsored has dependents, but they are already Canadian....
