hi everyone, i am studying in stclair college. i was registered in a business course which was of 4 semesters, after completing my 2 sems i had to pay fees the total fees was of 7240 and i paid 6200 and due to finanical conditions the college asked me to take a drop i went to college for 2 months till oct but then they asked me to take a drop and join the course on jan. so the confusion is will it effect my pgwp ? pls clear it to mee thanks in advance

Yes you won't qualify for pgwp.

but the law states u can take authorized leave for 150 days moreover i did not take drop college forced me to take a drop and college is ready to give me a letter stating tht the drop was given due to finanical conditions and i was enrolled in a course for 8 months for last 2 sems i was a full time student so pls let me know

You can take authorized leave but that does not mean that you are exempt from the PGWP requirement of continuous studies. You were required to drop because you didn't pay your fees, which is 100% your responsibility and nothing to do with the college "forcing" you.

Pgwp has its own rules nothing to do with the general study permit rules. U dont qualify if you take unofficial break for any reason. Now officers are allowed to look at your case and make exceptions but it is entirely up to them if they grant you pgwp, so it is a big gamble at this point.

ok but what if college grants me letter saying tht he attended the college for 2 months and we gave him a drop for 2 months pls let me know will it help ? because lawyers are saying it will help

and what if i take another course after completing my diploma will i get pgwp ?
