My employer says that he has applied my name onto an unnamed LMO he has. He has sent a copy of the unnamed LMO and a print from Service Canada website that shows two sections: "Job Information" and "Foreign Worker's Information". The second section contains my particulars. However this is a print out of, perhaps, his submission of addition of my details to the unnamed LMO, is my belief.
The unnamed LMO however says that upon adding my name, a confirmation letter will be sent for the purposes of work permit application.
What documents should I be exactly receiving from my employer upon adding my name onto an unnamed LMO? How will it look like?
Hi. Mine was about 8 pages and this includes the name of two applicants under the same company
The contents of the confirmation says everything about conditions and terms. It also includes a certain clause that company will be paying for these and that. Mine look like a drafted contract.
No i am not yet. Didnt know it could take longer from inside Canada. I believe u can apply for permit already as long as u have the ref number of the application. But i heard that if ur not a Canadian you must apply from your country of origin or if you dont require a permit u can just go to the nearest border and apply directly there.
Just be patient.. waiting can really be frustrating
Your employer will be responsible your adding your name to the LMO. This is taking about 30 days time. Once it has been added they will send a fax to him with your name listed on the LMO. Use this to apply for your WP.
Matthew mine is unnamed lmo too and i dont understand why its taking so long, its my 7th week now im from alberta, do u have any idea what is the current processing time?thanks
Alberta office is very slow right now, for all aspects, including AINP office went from 4 weeks processing time to 6 months!!
We are still waiting on LMO application submitted in August.
Just be patient. Nothing you can do about it right now. If you have a representative on the file, they could perhaps call a team leader at the ESDC office.
