I am a practicing lawyer from Pakistan. I have a Undergraduate law degree from University of London External Programme. I have applied for the IQAS ECA.
Now someone told me that my degree will be evaluated as Bachelors degree (4years) from IQAS.
But I require it to be evaluated as First Professional Degree to fulfill my points for express entry.
Please shed some light on it. Or is there any one from the UOL Alumni who got it evaluated it as First Profesional Degree?

Thank you for replying. Oh that's a good news. But i only have a undergrad uol llb hons. degree. Will i be getting it evaluated as first professional degree irrespective of that? Looking forward to your response

Thank you for the prompt reply. How much did the UoL charge you for sending the attested copies of your degree and transcripts sent to IQAS? Also is that all you got assessed or did you send anything else as well?

I paid 25 pounds which is their transcript fee. The postage to IQAS was free. And as for your second question, i just got my llb degree's equivalence and just sent this to IQAS nothing else.
I received my AOR in jan and now at MEP stage.

Only the transcript, not the degree? I take it yours too was a distant learning programme? Good luck with the rest of the process. I hear it’s rather fast after the MEP stage.

Yeah. Just sent a simple photocopy of the degree when i sent the application package. Yeah it was distant learning. Thanks. Lets just hope for the best.

I got my ITA in Jan and AOR in March. My husband couldn’t get his things done in time so I applied as the only applicant. He will apply as soon as we receive his equivalency.

He did it from LGS via their affiliate programme. But of course all his degrees and transcripts say UoL. No mention of the local institute. It is the same for you, I trust?
