My uncle was granted a Visa in December for one year to visit the his family en Canada, does he have to visit his family in Canada before the 6 months from the date He was granted the visitor visa?

My uncle was granted a Visa in December for one year to visit the his family en Canada, does he have to visit his family in Canada before the 6 months from the date He was granted the visitor visa?

He can travel/visit them anytime during the validity of his visa. There's no 6 months' rule
