Hi experts, I have received invitation to apply for permanent residency and now that I found out that my Ex boss has sold his company. I still have in hand with the employment letter I got before the company was sold (it includes all the information cic asks for along with all the salary info, work hours, duties, employment dates etc).
My question is, should I continue go on and submit this letter for express entry and also provide a letter of explanation stating the closure of the business or ask my previous supervisor to write a new letter stating the duties. what action should I take?

thanks

I’m in same same situation with my 2 previous company one changed ownership and other filed bankruptcy and not paying last 2 months wages. I have gathered all the documents as proof and going to present as proof of work. And writing small LOE to give the context to VO.

You should do both.

I would also try to get a hold of the previous owner. But what you mentioned should suffice.
