I have a little over 3 years of experience from 2 jobs in my home country (India). And I also have a little over 1 year of experience here in Canada from 2 jobs.
I have been able to obtain work experience letters from both my jobs in Canada and also from 1 job in India.
However, for my first job in India (right after bachelors), I am unable to obtain a work experience letter as the company is now defunct. It was closed in 2020. I have tried to contact the management but I have been unable to do so. I have included this experience in my application for a student visa back in 2018.
I have not claimed any points for this experience in my express entry profile as I seem to have enough points for a CEC application (CRS: 539).
I am planning on detailing this in the "Personal History" section of my application if and when I receive an ITA.
Would this work? Has anyone here been through a similar situation in the past?
