Hi All
i got my medical report receipt today and got e mail from Hospital and they mention UCI number but they send me 9 digit no and my generic application form asking me 8 digit no so should i left one Zero ?
like the no is U000XXXXXX
reg
UCI number is given to you by CIC, most likely the number that the doctor gave you is the case number. So in the UCI part of the application, just leave it blank. If you have one, CIC will find it. If you don't have one, CIC will give you one.

HI Sweden
i got information sheet from hospital and in this sheet they mention UCI no and said if you have not yet lodged a visa application you must provide the health identifier on the top of this letter that is UMI,UCI,IME no # UoooXXXXXX.

I am sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say.
When my wife did her medical, they just gave her a 'receipt' that stated that she did her medical and we included that in the application. Her medical results are going to be forwarded to Manaila by the hospital directly.

a UCI is an 8 digit number. It doesn't contain letters as far as I'm aware.
but i receive e mail from my medical hospital and the mention nine number and one alphabet but i just took 8 digit as in form it just accept 8 digit so i left two starting Zero and left one alphabet i hope it will be alright.
because in this medical paper they said you must put UCI no if you did not send your application now.

the UCI number is not required for medicals in the case of family sponsorship. in the case of regular immigration the applicants only do their medicals after their file is in processing, they are assigned a UCI number and the VO gives it to them(a number that is in the form 1234-5678, has no letters in front and definitely doesn't start with 000).
the one you wrote is wrong, you should have left it blank.
ok i am sending it blank but hospital saying bellow
if you not yet lodged a visa application, you must provide the health identifier on the top of this letter e.g(UMI,UCI,IME) to CIC.please make sure that you attach this letter with your visa application before submitting the form to CIC this will facilitate processing of your visa application.
this letter is on PDF format and electronic medical information sheet.
i dont know what your country hospital doing but in Korea they give me this on e mail.
and receipt as well.

Let's try explaining it another way, maybe this will be more successful:
1. If you did't start the immigration process, you don't have an UCI.
2. The hospital is just saying that you must send the report they've sent you together with the visa application (in the same envelope, at the same time) so that the VO can get your medical file when needed. The medical report has a code on it (bar code and letters and numbers) - that's how they identify your medical file. It's all on the report you received from the doctor.
Maybe it should be good idea to look for help with someone who speaks a better english. I'm not saying it nastily, just out of concern. You may make mistakes if you have problem with the language and it would be a shame that your application be refused because you misunderstood something.
Good luck!
i understand english every well as i am not korean

hello there may i be allowed to post here. I just want to clarify, medical results are being sent to the embassy not to CIC missisauga?thanks much.
send all docs to missisauga if you are sending your application first time and if visa office ask you send medical report then send to them.
