Hi all,
I will be applying for a partner visa this month and am looking to get my medical done first to submit as a package as due to my job will definitely need to do a medical. I previously had an IEC working holiday visa which has expired and I have a UCI for that. When I called BUPA to book my medical I was told that UCI will be expired and I will need to wait for a new UCI number once I apply for my visa. Is this true? I would have thought just by definition the "Unique Client Indentifier" would always be the same for the one person. I used this number in my eta visa waiver for a visit coming up this July so if it is expired I imagine this will cause me problems at the border. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!

Hi, I don't believe the UCI number expires. I have had the same number for the past 11 years since the first time it was allotted to me in their system.

FYI, uci never changes is unique like the SIN and if you loose your landing papers you can get new one and even that will have same uci number. It's life long number, you forget it you are toast j/k .
